In addition train service to and from New York City is provided by Metro-North Railroad from Poughkeepsie. UCAT provides a shuttle bus link to the railroad station. SUNY New Paltz commuters also have access to three free park & ride lots in the area, especially to the lot on Rt. 32 across from Stewarts, from which the Link provides a quick trip to the campus. UCAT also provides a connection to CoachUSA bus service in Newburgh.
