Vanpool Information

If your commute is more than 30 miles to your workplace and you work fixed hours most of the time, commuting in a vanpool may be a very good option for you. You and at least six other colleagues can form a vanpool, using our popular minivans, or choose a larger van for groups of up to 15 people. It’s a great way to save money, free up time for work, sleep or just relax. You reduce wear and tear on your car, possibly save on insurance and do your part to save the environment.

In addition, your employer-sponsored participation in the federal Commuter Tax Benefit program can save you up to $1,000 in pre-tax dollars for your commute and parking expenses. You don’t need to worry about leaving your car at home because there’s an additional benefit: The Guaranteed Ride Home Program.
